Ella Mai Expresses Thirst for NBA’s Jayson Tatum, Fans Warn Her of Love Triangle Poison

The NBA players weren’t the only people shooting shots over the All-Star weekend.

The singer Ella Mai did the same when she responded to a photo of Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, who played in the Rising Stars game and Skills Challenge on Saturday, which he won.

Then on that same day, the 20-year-old posted a photo of himself, and the “Boo’d Up” singer responded by posting an emoji of bulging, googly eyes. That of course sparked a wide array of comments, and some encouraged the British artist to pursue the hoop star.

“I need ella and Jayson to be a thing! Yess!!! #shotclock,” someone wrote.

“She better secure the bag now..that boo’d up money running a little low😳😂🤣,” a second person commented.

But others brought up the fact that Tatum has a baby with a woman named Toriah Lachell, his high school sweetheart, and they told her to stay away.

“girl dont do it. he got a baby. abort mission!” someone advised her.

Another reason some might warn Mai to keep her distance is because Tatum was recently involved in a love triangle.

Tatum introduced the world to his son for the first time in January 2018, but during Lachell’s pregnancy he was reportedly dating another woman named Samie Amos, who blasted him. The way it appears, Amos didn’t know that Tatum had a son coming.

“You think you played me BUT who ended up losing? she wrote on Instagram Stories in late December. “I mean what did I lose? A boy that didn’t appreciate what I did for him? What did you let go?”

“A girl that would go out her way just to please you and someone that rode with you through thick and thin ” added Amos. “A girl who loved you regardless of your flaws (trust me there was a lot). You can easily be replaced, but a girl like me? Good luck finding a girl who put up with you like I did.”

No word if Tatum responded to Mai, but people are still reacting to her flirtatious emoji.
