Second Woman Claims She Too Was Assaulted by Man at Center of Alleged Rape Inside Atlanta Nightclub

A second alleged victim has come forward after a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman inside Atlanta’s Opera nightclub was arrested this week.

Dominique Williams was arrested after turning himself into police on Jan. 29, according to the Atlanta Police Department. Williams, 34, now faces an aggravated sodomy charge stemming from the alleged assault that occurred at the popular venue on Saturday, Jan. 19.

The victim, Jasmine Eiland, streamed the alleged attack on Facebook Live.

Local station WSB-TV sat down with a second woman, who spoke on the condition of anonymity and said she went out on a date with Williams in September.

“I couldn’t believe it,” she said of video showing the assault on Eiland. “I cried for her.”

The woman said she met Williams on social media and agreed to a date, during which time she says they talked, laughed and drank moderately. Suddenly, she said she didn’t feel like herself and knew something was wrong.

“I felt woozy,” she told the station. “I knew I wouldn’t be able to drive in the state that I was in.”

Hours later, the woman said she woke up in Williams’ bed. She said Eiland comforted her with words of support as she shared her experience.

“She was more like on the positive side, like, ‘It’s OK.’ We’re going to get through this,’ or whatever,” the woman said.

Williams remains in custody and is being held without bond. His lawyer, Atlanta-based attorney Shequel Ross, has maintained her client’s innocence.

“The goal is about truth. The goal is about evidence,” Ross said in a recent YouTube video. “The facts of this case do not prove that my client led [Eiland] off, abused her, misused her or raped her. My client has been crucified and convicted in the media, and I’m here to get down to the bottom of this.”

“I think the evidence will show otherwise, that this was not a rape,” she added.
