For nearly five years Naturi Naughton and Omari Hardwick have played married couple Tasha and Ghost St. Patrick on “Power,” and according to Naughton it has been nothing short of a learning experience.
The actress communicated that to her co-star for his 45th birthday, which was Wednesday, Jan. 9, and she told him exactly what he means to her.
“Happy birthday to my partner in crime for 6 seasons,” wrote Naughton on Instagram. “I’ve grown so much because of you, and I’m grateful I get to share the screen with you every year. #PowerCouple, #UncleO, #TheStPatricks, #PowerTV, #TVHubby, #Blessed.”
“I’m with Naturi,” one fan commented. “You two just light up the screen. Happy blessed birthday, Omari. I have been waiting patiently for ‘Power’ to return and for Ghost and Tasha to reconnect and get back together. That would be awesome. Here’s to the best show on TV.”
There was also someone who said Naturi and Hardwick are so good together on screen she can’t believe they aren’t really married.
“I can’t even imagine you guys in real life with other people,” that person wrote. “‘Power’ is so reality in my house. Great acting, great characters. I love you both”
A few days ago, Hardwick’s TV son, Michael Rainey Jr., who plays Tariq St. Patrick on the show, sent him a birthday shoutout as well and called the 45-year-old a mentor. Hardwick’s wife, Jae Pfautsch, also sent him a message on his special day and said he’s a stellar role model for their children.
The sixth season of “Power” is supposed to air sometime in 2019.
