“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg is not here for Roseanne Barr’s shenanigans.
Goldberg blasted the now-canceled comedienne for sharing a doctored photo of Goldberg wearing a T-shirt showing President Donald Trump with a firearm pointed to his head. The tweet, originally posted by a user named “JamieR,” accused ABC of picking sides for axing Roseanne instead of firing Goldberg, an outspoken critic of Trump.
Folks were quick to decry the fake news and posted photos of Goldberg’s real T-shirt, which read, “And you thought I was a nasty woman before? Buckle up. Buttercup.” There was no image of Trump whatsoever.
In an effort to normalize her racist, vile behavior @therealroseanne decided to retweet this image of @WhoopiGoldberg wearing a disgusting t-shirt of Trump shooting himself.
The problem? Whoopi never wore this shirt… pic.twitter.com/jkqx3jtQNr

“So this is what I’m going to say, Roseanne — just because you were caught with your pants down, don’t try to drag other people down with you,” Goldberg said on the “The View,” calling the Photoshopped image “horrific.”
Barr retweeted the photos Tuesday after ABC canceled her hit reboot over racist comments she made about former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett. A handful of networks, including streaming service Hulu, also announced they would no longer air re-runs of the popular 80’s sitcom.
“I didn’t fake my shirt. Someone else faked my shirt,” Goldberg said on Wednesday. “But that’s your tweet. That’s on you. You did this to yourself!”
Conservative co-host Meghan McCain applauded ABC for pulling the plug on Barr’s show, calling the comedienne’s doctored tweet “a load of crap.”
“I’ve been so disheartened by what’s acceptable in the world right now, what’s acceptable in the White House,” McCain commented. “It’s refreshing to see someone take a stand and say ‘No, not at ABC. Not at this company. This is not acceptable rhetoric.’ ”
“This is not about being a conservative, OK?” McCain continued, this time her comments directed at Barr. “This is about you being a racist.”
