Here's Michelle Wolf's take on White House press secretary Sarah Sanders. https://t.co/9Hn6dbt9Mw

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders may intimidate media professionals, but she was no match last night (Apr. 28) for comedian Michelle Wolf.
During D.C.’s annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner the “Daily Show” contributor brutally roasted President Trump’s right-hand press official while Sanders sat just feet away.
“I’m a little starstruck,” Wolf said to Sanders before comparing her appearance to an old woman on a television series. “I love you as Aunt Lydia in The Handmaid’s Tales.”
Judging by the White House official’s facial expression, she didn’t find the joke funny, but that didn’t stop the comedian from her roast session.
“I actually really like Sarah. I think she’s very resourceful… She burns facts and then she uses that ash to create a perfect smoky eye. Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s lies. It’s probably lies,” the writer said, as the audience cackled.
Wolf set up one last punchline that left Sanders clearly uncomfortable and without a smile on her face.
“I’m never really sure what to call Sarah Huckabee Sanders,” Wolf continued. “Is it Sarah Sanders? Is it Sarah Huckabee Sanders? Is it Cousin Huckabee? Is it Auntie Huckabee Sanders? Like, what’s Uncle Tom but for white women who disappoint other white women?”
Of course, people slammed Wolf’s performance and said it was inappropriate.
Tonight’s #WHCD was a disgrace

This is pathetic. Michelle Wolf going after @PressSec is not even funny. Just flat out pathetic.

Apology is owed to @PressSec and others grossly insulted ny Michelle Wolf at White House Correspondents Assoc dinner which started with uplifting heartfelt speech by @margarettalev – comedian was worst since Imus insulted Clinton’s

Of course, Trump couldn’t help throwing in his two cents, repeating what he allegedly heard from others who were in attentendance. Some even praised Sanders for not walking out during the routine.
While Washington, Michigan, was a big success, Washington, D.C., just didn’t work. Everyone is talking about the fact that the White House Correspondents Dinner was a very big, boring bust…the so-called comedian really “bombed.” @greggutfeld should host next year! @PeteHegseth

That @PressSec sat and absorbed intense criticism of her physical appearance, her job performance, and so forth, instead of walking out, on national television, was impressive.

While other’s praised the comedian’s act and responded to white people who are in their feelings.

Had never seen Michelle Wolf's act before. After #WHCA dinner tonight, can't wait for her new Netflix show. Washington insiders will gasp and tsk tsk, but she killed it, in my opinion.
