Rep. Maxine Waters Is Fed Up with the President and Tells Him to ‘Just Get Out’ of Office Already

California congressional leader Maxine Waters relayed a heartfelt message to president Trump during Time Magazine’s “100 Gala” Tuesday night at the Lincoln Center in New York City.

Congresswoman Waters, has vocalized time and again her disapproval of Trump’s presidency to the public and makes it no secret.

During the star-studded event where the California Rep. was being honored as one of the most influential people of the year, Waters was asked if she had any words of advice or counseling for the president.

“Please resign,” Auntie Maxine told Time Magazine without hesitation. “So that I won’t have to keep up this fight of your, you know, having to be impeached… Because I don’t think you deserve to be there… Just get out,” she exclaimed.

Waters is one of the most vocal politicians regarding the impeachment of Trump and has consistently pitched the idea of removing him from office.

She told MSNBC’s Joy Reid in January, “This man has obstructed justice right before our very eyes… I simply believe that not only has he colluded, and of course he has obstructed justice, but his character is such that the United States and the citizens of this country, rather, should not be willing to tolerate.”

18-year-old “Grown-ish” actress Yara Shahidi applauded Waters for speaking out against Trump’s era in office.

“She is adored and admired by people who care about social justice and is oh so eloquent in letting the world, particularly the white men of Congress who dare test her acumen, know that she is not here for any nonsense,” Shahidi wrote in her “100 Tribute” to Waters.
