It turns out Tiffany Haddish wasn’t actually serious about a possible hook up with Brad Pitt in 2019.
The comedian cleared the air on Twitter Wednesday, March 7 after media outlets took what she told “Live with Kelly & Ryan” and ran with it.
“So funny to me, it was a joke but I love how serious you all are,” Haddish wrote. “I want to be number one in a man’s life. He has a lot of kids that would make me what number 8 or at best baby Mama 2. And as much as I would love to chitchat with Angie that is not what I want to be talking about.”
She added that she’d prefer to talk to Pitt’s ex-wife, actress Angelina Jolie, about “making movies and making money.”
The headline-making story emerged when Haddish played a game of “Marry, Date, Ditch” backstage at the Oscars on Sunday, March 4. Kelly Ripa asked the “Girls Trip” actress which on a list of Hollywood A-listers she’d prefer to marry, date or leave alone.
When Pitt’s name was pulled, Haddish exclaimed, “I just met him in the elevator!”
“He said in one year if he’s still single and I’m single, we gon do it, so you know what that means!” she continued. “But he do got seven kids, I don’t know if I could deal with a man that’s got that many kids.”
And even though Pitt actually has six children, Haddish clearly doesn’t want to intrude on his family life.
