News of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un and President Trump’s imminent meeting flooded headlines. However, during a panel discussion Thursday, Mar.8, CNN host Erin Burnett declared Trump could down “as a great president” if the issues with North Korea are resolved.
The news reporters shocking words come on the heels of the South Korean National Security Office Head, Chung Eui-Yong announcement of Jong-Un possibly enacting denuclearization and stopping tests around the nuclear weapons program. Trump also tweeted about the meeting Thursday evening.
Kim Jong Un talked about denuclearization with the South Korean Representatives, not just a freeze. Also, no missile testing by North Korea during this period of time. Great progress being made but sanctions will remain until an agreement is reached. Meeting being planned!

Burnett said, “Just an extraordinary evening and, of course, opening the door to the big question,” she exclaimed. “If President Trump could truly solve this problem, that would be going down as a great president. There is no getting around that. That is the reality here.”
Major General James Marks, a CNN contributor, added the North Koran dictator may be viewed as “irrelevant” and “not to be taken seriously” if he chooses not to recognize the military partnership between the United States and South Korea as not “one of the best in the world.”
