50 Cent wasn’t impressed with Jay-Z’s new album “4:44” and Instagram users were equally unimpressed with 50’s hot take.
“I thought the s— was aight, you know what I’m sayin’?” 50 says in a now-deleted Instagram video Wednesday, July 5. “I liked the s—. But I’ma keep it 100: The s— was a little, the s— was too smart. I felt like I was supposed to be wearing glasses and s—, and tie, like, a f—— sweater around my waist. It was like Ivy League s—.”
He added that Jay couldn’t be the best rapper at age 47 — something Jigga has proclaimed throughout his career — because of the new MCs currently in the game.
“I ain’t gon’ hold you up,” 50 says. “Some of that s— was like golf course music.”
Many sounded off online and one who captured the clip before it was removed took 50’s statement as the reason why he hasn’t been successful in the past few years.
