Watch 3 Brothers Intervene After Racist Panhandler Harasses Black Women on Train

Recent viral video shows a white train passenger verbally harassing two Portland, Oregon Black women Saturday, Aug. 13.

In the video, a bulky white passenger can be heard screaming ” F—— N—– ” at two female passengers on the MAX train.

Shockingly, other passengers did not respond to racially insensitive remarks the white passenger made.

According to The Oregonian, one of the victims has been identified as 27-year-old Nitasha Sweaney.

In an email to the news outlet, Sweaney wrote that she was riding the train coming from a birthday party when the man in the video asked for 75 cents.

The woman was with her young child and godmother when the verbal assault occurred.

She told him, “No,” but he was persistent.

“He did not listen and came about a foot away from us and was yelling racial slurs and cussing in our face. At this point the only thing I could do was hold my daughter tightly and cover her ears.”

Then three brothers approached the man with their cameras to record the incident.

“I see this fairly big man yelling,” 21-year-old Emilio Herrera told The Oregonian Tuesday. “That man was just yelling at this woman, yelling the n-word, kind of being belligerent.”

“We told him to stop,” said Herrera. “He asked us what the f— we were going to do about it.”

In the video, viewers can see the large man swipe at the three. He cursed at them and tried to spark up a violent altercation with the brothers.

Then he gets off the train and yells the n-word one final time.
