Watch Only Adult Survivor from MOVE Bombing Give Harrowing Details of Domestic Terrorist Attack that Killed 11 

In a July 29 interview with The Guardian, the only adult to survive the MOVE compound bombings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1985 talks about what is was like to experience the terror firsthand.

The MOVE Black liberation organization often clashed with police and on May 13, 1985, their disagreements came to a head.

Activist Ramona Africa says when she tried to escape through the doorway the police “opened fire on us.”

Houses located on Osage Avenue are still abandoned because of the bombings.

“This was not a plan to simply take move people into custody. This was a plan to kill off the MOVE organization.”
