Police Kill Black People More Often Than Whites
Just last year, 233 Black individuals lost their lives at the hands of law enforcement, while 414 white people were killed. White citizens make up 77 percent of the population, while Black people make up 13 percent, so this means that Blacks are four times more likely to be killed by police officers than their white counterparts—a grave problem for Black America.
