Rapper Ludacris recently proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Eudoxie, a matter of days ago and in a recent Instagram post he revealed that they officially tied the knot only hours after he popped the question.
Ludacris and Eudoxie brought in the New Year as Mr. and Mrs. Bridges but the rapper’s fans had no idea.
While the 37-year-old Fast & Furious star married Eudoxie on Christmas Eve, it wasn’t until January 6 that he announced his new relationship status.
“Why wait? Did the thing before 2015. #mrandmrsbridges,” he wrote on Instagram along with a loving photo of Eudoxie leaning against him in a white gown.
Eudoxie posted another picture on her own Instagram account that gave a better look at her floor-length gown.
In the photo Ludacris has his arms wrapped around his new wife and the caption reads, “#Weddingbliss Mr. & Mrs. Bridges.”
Ludacris had the in-home wedding ceremony planned out before he even took Eudoxie out to dinner that night.
Sources told TMZ that when the pair returned home from their dinner “a wedding dress was draped over a piece of furniture.”
“This was all a surprise to Eudoxie, but she was game so they got married on the spot,” the source continued. “A few friends and family members were there to celebrate.”
Eudoxie shared some more photos from the special night and captioned them, “Great way to go into the new year! Thank you for capturing such great moments @primephocus.”
TMZ’s sources also claim that the couple took off to Costa Rica for their honeymoon.
Things clearly moved at a fast pace for the couple as Ludacris had just announced the proposal on December 26.
“She didn’t say yes. She said HELL YES! #milehighproposal,” he wrote as he shared images of the proposal just after Christmas.
Just in case all the social media messages weren’t enough, Ludacris’s rep has also confirmed to several media sources that the pair officially tied the knot.
