Mohammed Dewji — Tanzania

The 39-year-old CEO of METL Group created the largest industrial conglomerate in East Africa, according to Forbes. The magazine ranks him as the 38th richest person in Africa with a fortune estimated at $500 million. In July, the young multimillionaire mogul will launch his Mo Dewji Foundation, which supports initiatives in health care delivery and education for Tanzania’s poor, the magazine reports.

Sim Shagaya — Nigeria

Shagaya earned his MBA from Harvard and now, at the age of 38, his website Konga.com has earned more than $38 million. Before founding Konga, he founded Dealdey, Nigeria’s leading group-buying e-commerce site, and E-Motion, an outdoor advertising company, Forbes reports.
