Djemaa el Fna has been described as the world’s most exciting town square. Located in the heart of Marrakech, you will find everything from startling snake charmers and henna painters to the more calm storytellers, date sellers and orange juice vendors. The market is open until early afternoon. When the sun goes down, a bevy of tribal drummers, mobile restaurants and dancers arrive at the square to top the day off in magnificent fashion. The square stays alive well past midnight.
