Law & Order: SVU” season 15, episode 17: “Gambler’s Fallacy” airs tonight on NBC.

On tonight’s episode, Detective Amanda Rollins’ addiction drives her to an illegal gambling club, where waitress Clare Wilson recognizes her as a cop. To protect her job, Rollins strikes a deal with the club managers to make their illegal transgressions disappear. But when the debt isn’t paid to their liking, she doubles down and loses, forcing Sergeant Benson and Detective Tutuola to suspect one of their own of an unthinkable crime.

Created by Emmy Award-winning producer Dick Wolf, “Law & Order: SVU” is a hard-hitting and emotional series from NBC’s Law & Crimes of the Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department, an elite squad of detectives who investigate sexually based crimes.

Dedicated Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay), a seasoned veteran of the unit who has seen it all, heads up the department with empathy and professionalism, all the while dealing with her difficult past – as a product of rape and a witness to her mother’s grief, she can personally relate to each victim she tries to help.
