“The Voice” season 6, episode 1: “6th Season: The Blind Auditions Premiere” airs tonight on NBC.
In the season premiere, the “blind auditions” are held in front of the celebrity panel of coaches, including Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira and Usher, who each pick vocalists for their individual teams. The strongest vocalists from across the country compete to be selected by one of the coaches and fight for a chance to win the title of being named “The Voice.”

“The Voice” returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the blockbuster vocal competition show’s sixth season. Celebrity musicians and coaches Levine, Shakira, Usher and Shelton return, while Carson Daly continues to serve as host.
The show’s innovative format features four stages of competition: the blind auditions, the battle rounds, the knockouts and finally, the live performance shows.”
