Round The Rumor Mill: Apple iPhone 6 And Larger iPad?

There is a rumor hinting at the idea of an early release date of the iPhone 6. Writer Mark Gurman of 9 to 5 Mac said that CEO Tim Cook released a pretty lengthy memo to employees this morning. Apple Inc. has much good cheer to spread.

Between the raving success of the iPhone 5S and the recently inked China deal, the company is looking to grow its good fortune into 2014. In the memo, Cook said Apple has some “big plans that we think customers are going to love.” Perhaps, the majority of tech outlets are reading into “big” excessively, but its use causes brows to raise. Could this be the initial step to introducing the iPhone 6, equipped with a larger screen? Unnamed sources are nodding yes.

With the iPhone 5, iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S  millions of consumers loved the color difference in the newest generation and  the incredible processor, but many wanted something more. The iPhone 5C resulted in being nothing more than the iPhone 5, touched in plastic. Could Apple Inc and Cook be suggesting a “big” phone to fulfill consumer demands?

A recent article – see the end of this story for that link – discussed the prospect of Apple releasing an iPad that would sport a 12.9-inch screen. Comments indicated a sense of welcoming a screen that size. Realtors, teachers, artists and business executives could utilize the bigger screen for clients and work.

Currently, speculation and rumor is all that is available for avid consumers. Introducing “phablet” style phones and larger than life iPads would mark an evolutionary change within Apple’s walls.
