“The Voice” season 5, episode 27: “Finale: Winner is Announced” premieres tonight on NBC.

It’s the season finale of “The Voice”  and after a long and wide ride, it all comes to a head when host Carson Daly reveals tonight whether America has chosen Tessanne Chin, Jacquie Lee or Will Champlin as the winner.  Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, CeeLo Green and Christina Aguilera return as the celebrity panel of coaches. Judging by her success on iTunes, Tessanne seems to be the favorite. Do you think she will be crowned the winner tonight?

The description of series reads:

“The show features four celebrity artists who will put together teams of singers who they’ll coach and mentor throughout the competition. Week by week, individuals will be eliminated until each celebrity has only one person on their team left to compete for the title of ‘The Voice of America,’ in a live finale.

“Unlike ‘American Idols’ lengthy audition process, the celebrity mentors will select their team members via a blind audition, so they’ll only be able to hear their voices. The show will have three stages of competition – the blind audition, a battle phase, and the live performance shows. Viewers will take part in the show by casting votes to help determine the finalists, who are competing for the grand prize – a recording contract.”

“The Voice” season 5, episode 27: “Finale: Winner is Announced” airs Dec. 17, at 8 p.m. EST on NBC. Take a look at highlights from last night’s episode where with everything on the line, Tessanne Chin delivers a powerful take on Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing,” and Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine kicked off finale week rocking to Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar on Me.”
