On this week’s episode “Eye Spy” which airs Tuesday, will feature Pascale Armand who will play Akela Amador. The episode’s synopsis goes as follows:
Agent Coulson and the S.H.I.E.L.D. team try to “track down a mysterious woman who has single-handedly committed numerous high-stakes heists. But when the woman’s identity is revealed, a troubling secret stands to ruin Coulson.
Primarily a stage actress, with few screen credits, this will be Armand’s highest profile role to date.
Then on next week’s episode, “The Girl In The Flower Dress,” Ethiopian actress Ruth Negga will make her USA TV debut playing the villain targeted by S.H.I.E.L.D. According to Shadow and Act, Negga will play the elusive girl in the flower dress, who may hold the key to the mystery that brings Coulson and the team to the rescue of a young man with unusual and dangerous powers.
