With the premiere of The Walking Dead, season 4,  two weeks away, AMC has stepped up promotion for the hit series.

After all the previous promotional material, including trailers, teasers, and photos, it’s safe to say that in season 4 the relative safety of the prison is coming to an end. The latest trailer does its part to drive this point home, particularly with the featured tagline:  There’s Nowhere to Run.

In 30 seconds, the trailer features fresh footage from the fall installments, showing the survivors taking turns depicting tense moments from the upcoming season. Robert Kirkman and new showrunner Scott M. Gimple have been teasing about a new threat this season that is neither human nor walker.

However, the new trailer hints that some human inside the prison is a big threat. The brief clip shows scenes of Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) defending one the cell blocks against a walker incursion, while Rick (Andrew Lincoln) posits a theory about someone attacking the cell block to allow the walkers to get inside.

Has The Governor (David Morrissey) returned to take revenge on the survivors? Or is there a traitor among the group?

The questions will be answered when The Walking Dead, season 4, episode 1: “30 Days Without an Accident,” airs Sunday, Oct. 13, at 9:00 pm EST on AMC.
