Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh slipped a fine for his elbow to the head of Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Eric Winston during Week 2, according to sources.

A week after the play, video surfaced of Suh making contact with Winston, but apparently the refs missed it because it wasn’t flagged during the game.

“To me, it’s really petty,” Suh said earlier this week. “The game’s over with. Me and Winston had great interaction throughout the game.

“There’s no bad blood there. I look forward to playing against him in the playoffs and down the road.”

Winston agreed with Suh about the incident, saying he didn’t think Suh hit him on purpose.

The Detroit Lions DT had been fined already once this season. He received a $100,000 penalty for an open field chop block on Minnesota Vikings center John Sullivan in Week 1.

The Lions play the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Back in 2010, Suh was fined $15,000 for an illegal hit on Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.
