Two new Blue Caprice clips have emerged online, depicting unsettling footage of actor Isaiah Washington as the Washington D.C. sniper. The film opened on just a single screen in New York City over the weekend, and over the next month distribution will expand with a very limited release to select cities.
The new clips draw interest in the film amid its limited release in theaters and on ITunes, where viewers can pay $6.99 to download and watch Blue Caprice in the comfort of their own homes.
Penned by R.F.I. Porto, and co-produced by Ron Simons (SimonSays Entertainment), Blue Caprice is based on the story of the 2002 Washington D.C. Beltway attacks by sniper John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo, who is played by Tequan Richmond in the film.
The psychological drama, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, was picked up by Sundance Selects. It was directed by Alexandre Moors, his debut feature.
