Fox Releases ‘Sleepy Hollow’ Preview Featuring Nicole Beharie and Orlando Jones

The “Sleepy Hollow” story told in Washington Irving’s classic novel has been given a modern treatment in a new series airing on Fox this fall.  The network has released a preview of their new sci-fi horror show, titled same as the novel, and stars  Tom Mison,  Nicole Beharie and Orlando Jones.  Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Star Trek and Transformers franchises, Fringe) are the co-creators/executive producers of the series. Since debuting at Comic Con earlier this summer, the pilot has been screening in several cities and has received mostly positive reviews.

In the new “Sleepy Hollow drama, Ichabod Crane (Mison) mysteriously resurrects into modern times after being buried during the Revolutionary War over two and a half centuries ago. With the help of detective Abbie Mills (Beharie), who’s initially reluctant to believe the outlandish story, the unlikely duo set out to track down a headless horseman. Their target is one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse and is now on a murderous rampage in the modern-day town of Sleepy Hollow. Jones plays Captain Irving, Sleepy Hollow’s skeptical head of police.

Take a look at the “Sleepy Hollow preview below, which features Beharie and Jones discussing the show and some previously unseen footage that gives us a glimpse into the series.
