It has been over two months since AMC released the first “Walking Dead” season 4 teaser, which hinted that the walkers have evolved into an even more dangerous problem for the team of survivors.
Now the network has released another teaser that, while much shorter than its four-minute 26-second predecessor, reinforces the idea the zombies are more dangerous than ever.
The new clip shows Michonne (Danai Gurira) returning to the group’s prison headquarters on horseback, but her galloping appears to have attracted a couple of very aggressive walkers. Usually you would see Michonne take out a number of these guys in a matter of seconds with her katana sword. But this time however, something is different.
The scene ends with a chaotic cliffhanger struggle, where it seems that the dread-locked sword-wielder is about to become zombie lunch. But little Carl and some of the others can be seen scrambling to her rescue. Will they get to her in time or will the group loose Michonne in Season 4?
Hopefully not, but fans know everyone is fair zombie game on The Walking Dead.
AMC will debut the fourth season of The Walking Dead on Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. As with the previous seasons, it will be a 16-episode season, divided into 2 segments.
