University of Alabama Football No. 1 in Coaches’ Top 25 Poll

This year’s preseason USA TODAY football coaches’ poll votes are in and, to no one’s surprise, the University of Alabama is at the top of the list.

The Crimson Tide, who has won the last two national championships, received 58 of 62 ballots to get the number one ranking.

“We appreciate the recognition, but preseason polls don’t determine who the best teams will be,” Alabama coach Nick Saban told USA TODAY Sports. “We aren’t entitled to anything, and this team’s achievements will be based on what they create with the quality of their play and consistency in performance.”

The Southeastern Conference, like always, will be a long tough road to the national championship for Alabama. If the last two seasons can predict the upcoming one, The Crimson Tide can possibly take another national championship. They sure have the talent!
