Kevin Durant (KD) is no doubt one of the best basketball players in the universe. KD has also secured a spot in the hearts of sneaker heads with his signature Nike shoes.
In the past, Durant and lead designer Leo Chang decided to cross over to a high-top shoe for the KDV, which baffled sneaker heads—especially after the success of the low-top KD IV.
With the launch of the KD VI, Durant and Chang retreated back to the low-top. KD is known to have a big voice throughout the design process, often including sentimental features around the shoe.
