The Hangover Part III trailer, which just made its way online, reveals some very interesting details about the upcoming sequel.
Off course we know that The Hangover Part II was slammed for almost being a carbon copy of the original film. To fans this was a major let-down, and it appears producers of the raunchy comedy paid attention to the loud outcry and made some changes.
Judging by the online-only trailer, things will be different this time. Gone is the wild and crazy forgotten bachelor party concept; instead the infamous Wolf Pack — Phil (Bradley Cooper), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Stu (Ed Helms) — embark on a new type of adventure; getting Alan some much needed psychological help after his father dies.
Obviously the film will still revolve around booze-inspired debauchery and mayhem and an ill-fated road trip …I mean what else would Hangover 3 be about? The trailer shows footage from Tijuana and Las Vegas, but this time the guys find themselves strong-armed into tracking down Chow (Ken Jeong) by a new character (John Goodman) who claims he stole $21 million from him.
The trailer also confirms this will be the final installment of the trilogy, so hopefully director Todd Phillips and his team of writers saved their best work for last.
“The Hangover Part III” arrives in theaters May 24, 2013. Until then, check out the trailer below…
