Liam Hemsworth has been targeted to star in the Sci-Fi thriller feature film version of The Raven.
The Raven was originally a short film, which was director Ricardo De Montreuil, and bought by Universal pictures three years ago to be made into a feature length film.
According to reports, Hemsworth is currently in talks to play the lead of the film, Chris Black. The Raven is based on the story which follows Black, who possesses a power that could lead to the destruction of the current regime, and the opposition will stop at nothing to destroy him. So, the chase is on as Black runs for his life in this sci-fi thriller, set in an alternate and futuristic Los Angeles.
De Montreuil will retain his director position for The Raven with a screenplay written by Justin Marks. Steve Levinson and Nick Osborne are producing, and Oly Obst & Trevor Engelson are shelling out the cash as executive producers.
Besides this project, Hemsworth will reprise his role, Gale Hawthorne, in the upcoming Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
