Jack Black is planning on making the paranormal a whole lot funnier. With the help of his production company Electric Dynamite and Shine America, they created a new web comedy show called Ghost Ghirls. Ghost Ghirls, created by Jeremy Konner, Amanada Lund and Maria Blasucci, will star Lund and Blasucci, as two female ghostbusters who try to solve paranormal mysteries with a comedic view.
“Ghost Ghirls is the funniest idea for a TV show that we’ve seen since I’ve been in the business,” says Jack Black. “Jeremy Konner is an electrifying director, and Amanda and Maria are dynamite comedic talents.”
Black, Jake Johnson, Molly Shannon and Jason Schwartzman, along with many others are a few celebrity guest cameos that will appear in the 10 minute episode show.
Ghost Ghirls will join an original Yahoo! web show schedule with Burning Love and Sketchy. It will make its debut premier in Spring 2013 on Yahoo! Screen.
