Final 'Zero Dark Thirty' Trailer Released

Just after SAG and Golden Globes nominations, the final trailer for the highly anticipated Zero Dark Thirty has hit the web. The film has already garnered critical acclaim days before its limited release on December 19th and official release on January 11, 2013.

Academy Award winning director Katheryn Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal have teamed up for what seems to be another Hurt Locker type success. The two paired back in 2009 to create  The Hurt Locker. Both Bigelow and Boal won big at the 2010 Oscars, bringing home a handful of trophy’s, including the coveted best picture nod. The duo reunited for another action thriller, this time focusing on “the story of history’s greatest manhunt for the world’s most dangerous man.”

Zero Dark Thirty follows young CIA officer, Maya, portrayed by Jessica Chastain, as she follows her gut and intellect to lead Navy S.E.A.L. Team 6 to the capture of Osama Bin Laden in May 2011. The film also stars Chris Pratt, Kyle Chandler, Joel Edgerton, Jason Clark, Ricky Sekhorn, and Mark Strong. The tension is palpable in the final trailer for Zero Dark Thirty. The action triller is sure to give Argo a run for its money on being the best edge-of-your-seat thriller of this awards season.
