Well in case you were worried Beyonce Knowles isn’t going to be a stay at home mom. The new mother will be ending her so-called ‘maternity leave’ by performing at the Super Bowl this February. As seen on Deadline.com, the singer just announced she’ll be traveling to New Orleans to perform at Super Bowl XLVII. If this years show is anything like Madonna’s half time show last year, there will be an estimated 114 million viewers, which is more than the actual game itself. Fans have their fingers crossed that Beyonce will bring her hubby Jay-Z to perform with her, like she recently did at one of his New York shows.
While Beyonce has taken a bit of a hiatus from the limelight to focus on being a mom, her idea of laying low seems anything but low-key. In addition to performing with her husband, Beyonce took the stage back in May at the newel built Revel Resort and Casino in Atlantic City. She’s also been spotted at some Barack Obama fundraisers as well. The “Crazy in Love’ singer recently pulled out of a Clint Eastwood film, however I highly doubt that move was so she could spend more time at home with her daughter.
Beyonce is sure to put on quite the show at Super Bowl XLVII. She may provide more reason than just the commercials and oh yea, football, to tune in. Will you be watching?
