'Skyfall' Video Blog: New Under Water Shooting Technique Revealed

A new Skyfall video blog has broken the surface. The clip features a detailed explanation on the how the complicated under water scenes were shot in the upcoming James Bond movie.

The video shed some like on a new technique for shooting under water in the largest under water sound stage in the world.

This new way of shooting allows Daniel Craig (James Bond) to fight, take direction and even watch dailies, all while staying under water. Craig is given oxygen under water while in the middle of a fight sequence to maintain the continuity. Despite the clear and present danger, “Daniel is pretty game for anything.” Said first assistant director Michael Lerman.

In Skyfall, Bond’s Loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. With MI6 under attack 007 must track down the people responsible and eliminate the threat.
