Bruce Willis has entered talks to star in the action film American Assassin.
American Assassin, is a film that will be adapted from Vince Flynn’s series of books about hero Mitch Rapp. American Assassin is taken from the 11th Rapp book of the same name. The novel is set during the CIA operative’s younger days, in which Willis will be an elder at the Agency who serves as his mentor. American Assassin will show Rapp joining the agency when his girlfriend is killed in a terrorist attack.
According to reports, Willis was offered this job a while ago, but has just decided to entertain it. Since the new turn of events, CBS Films and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura have started the search to look for a writer to pen American Assassin.
American Assassin has been through at least one director already. Ed Zwick sign on and then dropped off and now Jeffrey Nachmanoff is taking over.
