Bobby Brown has proclaimed that he is fine after just 14 days in alcohol rehab.
“I’m seven and a half years off narcotics, 21 days clean of alcohol and I go by Bad Ass Bobby Brown,” Brown told his fans.
Brown was arrested for driving under the influence in March. But after entering a rehab facility last month, Brown left after just two weeks—prompting speculation that he had not completed his proscribed treatment.
From the stage on Orlando with his group New Edition, Brown told the sold-out crowd about his sobriety.
Meanwhile, a source has explained that Brown’s wife Alicia suffered a seizure in a Florida hotel room Saturday because of her diabetes, with which she was diagnosed in 2009.
Etheredge-Brown suffered the seizure in a Kissimmee, Fla., hotel room while her husband was doing a soundcheck for a New Edition show at the Gaylord Palms Resort. Brown was able to perform that evening.
Bobby and Alicia, who have three-year-old Cassius together, married in Hawaii in June after the singer proposed to her at a New Edition concert in 2010.
Over the weekend Brown tweeted: ‘The report that my wife was rushed to the hospital is true. She is recovering and is in good spirits and doing well. Please keep my family in your prayers.’
