Terry Crews Says He's Definitely Doing Fourth 'Friday' Movie

Last year, Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister revealed that there was a Friday part four in the works, and mentioned that Ice Cube plans to release this as his last installment of the comedy movie.

“There’s a lot of conversation that’s hopefully going down next week with Ice Cube and Chris Tucker about doing one more Friday”, said Lister. ”This is going to be the big one. We talked on the phone a couple of weeks ago, and I’m going on Chris’ private jet to do something in St. Louis, where I chase Chris on the stage.”

Ice Cube confirmed the film and said he was in the process of writing the script saying, “There’s a lot of movement. I’m writing the script right now, so we worked out a deal with New Line. The ball is rolling. We invited everybody back and we’ll have a fun movie.”

Now, Terry Crews, who appeared in the third edition of Friday, confirmed that he is returning for the last fourth movie. While talking to Nerd Reactor, the Expendables 2 star said, “Oh hell yeah, more than just a cameo. You’ll see me in the movie for sure,” when asked about the fourth Friday.

Internet viewers and movie fans went crazy when Lister also mentioned that that Chris Tucker will reprise his role as Smokey from the original Friday.

Tucker mentioned that he isn’t sure about his return, citing that it would be hard to duplicate the first Friday’s results.

“I don’t know. … Me and Cube, we’re talkin’ about it. They’re workin’ on a script… I don’t think it’ll be as special as the first one… We’ll see what happens, but I doubt it. … I don’t know if we can find that magic again.”
