Bobby Brown's Wife Alicia On Return To Rehab: "He's Doing Great"

Bobby Brown and his wife Alicia Etheridge got married just two months ago in Hawaii but their marriage is already tested with a stint in rehab.

Alicia confirmed Bobby was in a facility saying, “he’s doing great,” but did not elaborate. Brown is reportedly in treatment for alcoholism after members of the group New Edition became concerned about his drinking, according to Radar Online.

According to a source, Brown’s kids are his motivation to go back to rehab. “He decided that he needed help and wants to make the best of out of the rest of his life for his children’s sake,” the source said to TMZ. “He realized he couldn’t do it on his own.”

Brown has had a rough year with the death of pop icon Houston and the subsequent drama at her funeral. He was also accused of introducing her to drugs and causing her addiction, an accusation that was very hurtful for Brown, he said.

“It’s just unexplainable . . how one could, you know, [say that I] got her addicted to drugs. I’m not the reason she’s gone,” he said. “I was hurt … because, you know, me being off of narcotics for the last seven years – I felt that she was, you know, I didn’t know she was struggling with it still. But at the same time, you know – listen, it’s a hard fight.”
