A newly released trailer for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hit the internet this morning . At first glance it might not look any different from the first one, but a closer look reveals new footage has been added to the trailer.
For all the die-hard Hobbit fans the new clips can be spotted at the 0:23, 1:57 and 1:59 mark in the video.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey follows Bilbo Baggins on his adventures to regain control of the Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the dragon Smaug. Thorin Oakenshield and his band of Dwarf warriors are enlisted to aid him on his quest. Along the way Gandalf The Grey will join in, helping the gang through the wild where they encounter treacherous lands swarming with evil goblins, dangerous Orcs, deadly Wargs, giant spiders, deceptive shapeshifters and crafty sorcerers.
Jackson has confirmed that The Hobbit will become a trilogy, with the final film slated for a summer 2014 release date.
The film stars Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Elijah Wood, Cate Blanchett, Ian Mckellen and Orlando Bloom.
