The craziness continues from the Jackson family camp…
In the middle of a feud between Michael Jackson’s family over guardianship and wills, the singer’s older sister La Toya Jackson, has signed on to star in her own reality show. Jackson, 56, will appear on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network in a new reality TV series entitled Life With La Toya.
According to OWN, the show has been in development for months and will follow La Toya as she deals with her famous family. She spends time with friends and juggles work in the entertainment industry.
“I am so pleased to be working with television legend Oprah Winfrey and to be a part of the OWN family,” La Toya said in a statement to Variety. “This will be one of the most exciting adventures of my life.”
This will only add on to La Toya’s long reality TV experience. Prior to landing this deal, she spent time on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice in 2011. Jackson also appeared in Armed and Famous; Celebrity Big Brother; RuPaul’s Drag Race; and America’s Next Top Model.
The show is slated to premiere in 2013.
