Whitney Houston’s only daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown decided to call off the much speculated engagement to her adopted brother Nick Gordon. The couple drew criticism after putting their love on display following Whitney’s death. Many believed Bobbi was being manipulated not only by Patricia Houston (Whitney’s brother’s wife) but Nick Gordon as well. Everything appeared to be moving too fast..and now Bobbi’s pulling the brakes.
“Bobbi and Nick really love each other,” revealed one source. “But they just can’t figure out how they want to define their relationship. Bobbi felt like she got swept up in the moment because she was going through a lot of emotions after Whitney’s death. But they’re in love and still together, just not engaged.”
Bobbi publicly credits Nick for keeping her sane after her world was turned upside down. If true, it’s great to see Bobbi taking control of her life and hopefully will focus on her singing and acting career. She has received positive reviews for her role in Tyler Perry’s sitcom ‘For Better or Worse and is still filming Houston Family Chronicles for Lifetime.
