A new full-length trailer for The Dark Knight Rises has made its way online today. There’s plenty of new footage all throughout the teaser, but the most attention grabbing features are of the villain Bane and a broken Batman mask.
With only a month to go, promotion is on rapid fire for the The Dark Knight Rises. More unseen footage is being released showing Christian Bale in action as the caped crusader. So what else is shown that hasn’t been seen before in all the teaser trailers, TV spots, and posters? This time, Gordon-Levitt’s John Blake can be seen talking with a young boy about whether or not Batman was to ever come back.
There are new cuts of interesting and comical words from Alfred and Lucious, and new snippets of the explosive physical battles between Bane and Batman are definitely not left out.
However, it’s Bane who’s the focal point of the latest trailer. He is heard self proclaiming to be “Gotham’s reckoning” to an unknown victim and portrayed strutting with an impenetrable evil villain swagger as he nonchalantly tosses Batman’s broken mask.
The film boasts a solid cast consisting of Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Aidan Gillen, Juno Temple and Matthew Modine. The Dark Knight Rises flies into theaters on July 20th.
