British Media have reported that Nicole Scherzinger will be a permanent judge on UK’s X Factor. The vacant judge chair on the UK show came up after former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland was booted off the show last month.
“Kelly has not been able to agree to a deal that fits into her autumn/winter schedule, she sadly cannot accept a place on the 2012 panel,” a spokesperson for the singer said.
This comes after Britney Spears replaced Scherzinger for the upcoming season of the U.S. version of X Factor, which is led by Simon Cowell.
Despite the British tabloids reports, there has been no formal announcement of Scherzinger being a new edition to the show. It was said that she was offered £500.000 to join the talent series but negotiated a higher rate and will acquire £750.000. If the deal is closed, Scherzinger will be joining fellow judges Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos.
The 33 year-old former Pussycat Doll is currently dating Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton.
