Emma Stone will receive MTV’s first Trailblazer Award at the network’s annual MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, June 3rd reports Entertainment Weekly.
This is a new award that was created to highlight an actor who has forged their own path in Hollywood. Stone has shown her amazing acting ability in a number of successful films, including last year’s Oscar-nominated The Help and her brilliantly funny role in Crazy Stupid Love.
She has now brought her talents to the upcoming film The Amazing Spider-Man starring opposite Andrew Garfield. The actress also makes an appearance in Ruben Fleischer’s Gangster Squad, which is set to release this year.
The 2012 MTV Movie Awards will be hosted by comedian Russell Brand. Presenters include Adam Sandler, Emma Watson, Andy Samberg, Leighton Meester, Andrew Garfield, Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Mila Kunis, and Mark Wahlberg. Rapper Wiz Khalifa and pop group “.fun” are among those scheduled to perform.
