Chris Harrison, host of ABC’s The Bachelor, is on the path to becoming a bachelor again, according to Radar Online.
A spokesman for Harrison announced the couple’s decision on Thursday, saying that after much heartfelt consideration, the couple have thrown in the towel on their 18 year relationship.
“Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate, our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children.”
The 40-year-old TV personality and his wife Gwen, whose maiden name is Jones, met while they were students at Oklahoma City University . They married in 1993 and produced two children, Joshua(9) and Taylor(7).
Harrison will next be seen on The Bachelorette, where 25 men will be competing for Brad Womack’s ex-fiancee Emily Maynard. The show will premiere on May 14th.
