LaLa Anthony’s style has transitioned from an unripe MTV veejay in the late 90’s who stood before us on stage with this big personality in blah clothes to a va va voom vixen to keep watch of. The Motives for La La makeup designer guided us through videos in over high-lightened bad hair (we’ve all been there), too-pale-of-a-face for bright studio lights, and surprisingly ill-fitting clothes (with a body like that?!) that were either sexed-up in the wrong direction or just plain frumpy. Nowadays the wife of NBA New York Knicks player, Carmelo Anthony, is looking the part and living up to her around-the-way title—‘first lady of New York.’
Always easy on the eyes (remember Carmelo inquired about the then-veejay he ‘had to meet’ just off seeing her on TV alone?), the “La La’s Full Court” reality star has taken her look to new horizons of hotness from those days. The mother-of-one, 5-year-old Kiyan Carmelo Anthony, is always on point with her style whether casual in skinny jeans and a cocoon tunic or utterly fabulous in a snatched evening gown for some gala, La La’s style is not only notched up from yesteryears, but she pulls the entire head-to-toe look off every time with ease.
We take a look at the buxom beauty’s style over the years just in time for the release of her new website launch for IAmLaLa.com. See how LaLa has grown in our eyes from a VeeJay to a style heavyweight.
Do you know how cute you have to be to still look cute in overdone brows and highlights? LOL!
La La was finding the right look for her while beginning to tone her brassy hair color down.
These pictures show her being more aware of what looks good on her busty figure and completely toned-down hair color with hints of highlights. Had forgotten about the side-shave look—not bad (on her).
I see a vixen taking shape. Clothes are sexy, but just enough without making men pass out upon arrival (LOL!). Playing with eyes more and darker tresses is becoming her thing.
Flawless: makeup, hair, clothes, and confidence! She’s attire-appropriate for whatever event she attends and her confidence is oozing through her bright smile which makes for any great beginning style. She looks comfortable (and straight fab) in the clothes she’s rocking, right?
What do you think of LaLa’s style evolution?
