The official Looper trailer has been released.
Looper is an upcoming American, futuristic, science-fiction film, directed by Rian Johnson. The movie, which has a time travel plot, stars Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels. Looper combines criminal organizations and corporate influences in one mixture. The film also has a number of technology influences, one of them being a time-travel machine that will be featured.
In the reported “dark and gritty” plot, a hit-man (Gordon-Levitt), who works for a mob in the year 2042, kills people who are sent in the time machine from the year 2072. The killer hesitates to murder one of the men (Willis) after he recognizes the man is actually himself in the future, resulting in the escape of his older self.
Looper, which was also written by Johnson, began filming in Louisiana on January 24, 2011. The film is scheduled to be released on September 28, 2012.
