Riding on the heels of the new-found Hunger Games stardom of Jennifer Lawrence, a new trailer has been released for The House at the End of the Street, in which the actress holds the lead role.
In the independently produced horror film, Lawrence plays a teen whose mother rents a home close to a property where the occupying parents were murdered by their daughter.
In The House at the End of the Street trailer, the storyline unfolds in reverse order. Lawrence’s character, Elissa, is first seen tormented by some unknown force, but as the plot fast forwards back in time, more is revealed about what is going on in the seemingly haunted house.
Elizabeth Shue stars alongside Jennifer Lawrence as Elissa’s mother, while Max Thieriot plays the surviving son of the murdered parents.
The House at the End of the Street is expected to premiere in theaters on September 21st of this year. Watch the new trailer below:
