Gerard Butler has been recently accused of having a relationship with a married woman in the past.
According to reports, the woman is a “wanna-be actress/model,” and she was a “newlywed” when the affair began. “It was a very intense relationship,” a source tells Radar Online. “She had very strong feelings for Gerard, despite the fact that she was a newlywed at the time. They would exchange heated text messages, emails and phone calls. She would drop anything to be with Gerard.”
The woman denied the behavior that most people might deem sick and tells the Web site that the report is false. She mentions that she met the actor once at a movie premiere, but claims there was no relationship with him. However, Radar’s source, says the woman ended her brand new marriage to be with Butler.
“She thought Gerard wanted to be in a relationship with her,” the source alleges. “She began calling Gerard incessantly and he changed his cell phone number. She hasn’t been in touch with him since he decided to go to rehab. Gerard has obviously moved on but she is now going through a divorce and trying to support her son.”
The woman’s first husband reportedly contacted the site. He adds that his marriage to the unnamed woman ended after she began sleeping with musician Dave Navarro.
“[Name redacted] had an affair with Dave Navarro that caused the end of his marriage to Carmen Electra. She told me about the relationship and we subsequently dissolved our own marriage.” He continued saying, “She called me a couple of weeks ago crying and saying she was getting divorced,” he said. “But I had no idea why.”
