Just off an episode that stared two high-profile guest stars Peri Gilpin and Nia Vardalos, Grey’s Anatomy is confirming that Summer Glau will be enlisted. ‘The Firefly’ and ‘Dollhouse’ fan favorite will guest star in a February episode of the ABC medical drama.
Show creator Shonda Rhimes, broke the casting news Monday on Twitter, exclaiming, “Love table read days! We have Summer Glau as a guest star!”
It’s unclear what role Glau will play. Glau’s current work includes a guest turn on CBS’ The Big Bang Theory, NBC’s short-lived super hero drama ‘The Cape’ and ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.’
Grey’s Anatomy has a strong history of attracting high profile guest start and continues to do so.
Glau is repped by UTA and the Schiff Co.
