X Factor USA judge Nicole Scherzinger may not return for the second season of the talent show which wrapped its first season on Thursday night. The former Pussy Cat Dolls star suffered criticism as the judge who struggled to put her own desires for stardom aside for her contestants. When asked if she will return for season two, Nicole told Radar Online what many already knew,
“Next year for me, it’s about my music. This has been quite a learning experience, quite a journey for me,” said Nicole of X Factor. “I didn’t expect to have been so emotional through the whole elimination process. I wanted to just mentor and empower artists.”
Elaborating on her music Nicole clarified why her album was delayed,
“The reason it hasn’t come out yet is because of The X Factor. It’s been so time consuming. I work with these contestants six days a week. So I delayed the album, but I was able to perform one of my new singles last week.”
“I’m used to being on stage and performing and singing for people and people cheering for me,” Scherzinger said. “I am an artist first, not a judge first!”
Despite answering all doubts that she would not return for season two, Nicole who snagged a part in Men In Black III revealed she’s looking for movie roles!
“I really want to find the right roles and the right opportunities in acting,” Nicole said. “Theater is actually what I studied in college.”
No, you’re not the only one confused right now.
